Most scholarship searches start with a list of famous names and end in guesswork. ScholarshipMatch starts with you instead: it checks your details against the published eligibility rules of the 494 scholarships in the StudyAbroadExperts database and shows only the ones whose rules you actually meet.

Four inputs do the work: your nationality, the degree level you are applying for, your field of study, and your GPA. A fifth toggle, fully funded only, filters to scholarships marked fully funded. Results come back sorted by deadline, soonest first, each with a countdown and the reasons it matched, quoted from its published eligibility wording. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.

How to run your first match

  • Pick your nationality and degree level, then your broad field of study.
  • Enter your GPA on the 4.0 scale. Convert carefully; the matcher reads it literally.
  • Run the matcher and read the deadline order first, not the famous names first.
  • Pin anything plausible to the tracker board. Pinned scholarships never count against the free runs.

Five match runs a day are free on your connection; after that, an email unlocks unlimited runs for the rest of the day. Scholarships whose published wording cannot be converted with confidence, a percentage GPA for example, are not dropped: they land in a close matches section that shows the recorded wording, so you can judge them yourself. The tracker half of the tool is the subject of our tracker apps roundup, the eligibility checker apps guide compares this style of tool, and flagship schemes such as Chevening still deserve a direct read on their official pages. Shortlisting the universities themselves is the next job: the Balanced Shortlist Builder at StudyAbroadConsulting does that from your scores. Start where it costs nothing: run your first match.
